A Surprising Acronym

What a surprise to see the acronym PACLAC applied to the Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County ( “Musical Chairs,” by Mary McNamara, So SoCal, March 5).
For more than two decades, PACLAC has stood for the Perinatal Advisory Council of the Los Angeles Communities, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the outcome of pregnancy.
If any of those big patrons McNamara mentioned in her article write any large checks to “PACLAC,” please be sure to let us know!
