The City Council is scheduled Wednesday to vote on membership in the El Toro Reuse Planning Authority, a coalition of cities and school districts that oppose a proposed international airport at the former El Toro Marine Corps Air Station.
As an associate member, the city would receive information about the organization’s activities and issues and would be able to attend and participate in board of directors meetings as a nonvoting member.
The cost for associate membership is $500 per year.
