Long Beach State 94, Idaho 88--Ramel Lloyd scored 27 points and Lemi Williams had 19 as the 49ers defeated the Vandals in two overtimes in a Big West Conference opener before 1,045 at Moscow, Idaho.
Idaho (2-5) was led by Adam Miller, who had 27 points. Bethuel Fletcher had 17.
The teams were tied, 63-63, at the end of regulation and 79-79 at the end of the first overtime.
Grant Stone and Travis Reed each had 14 rebounds for the 49ers (4-4).
