Mater Dei, Carlsbad Square Off

The top-ranked Mater Dei boys’ basketball team will play Carlsbad, the defending San Diego Section champion, at 6 p.m. tonight as part of a tripleheader at Santa Margarita High.
The Santa Margarita girls’ team will play Bellflower at 4 p.m., and the Eagle boys will face Canyon at 7:30.
