Let me get this right. Some of the 100 players on the Miami football team are given as much as $1,000 to travel to New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl. Meanwhile, the school pays for the charter plane anyway. Seems like a sizable monetary reward to the “student-athletes” for reaching a BCS bowl. NCAA, are you listening?
