A children’s ice skating class will be held by the city on Tuesdays or Thursdays beginning this week.
The six-week course will teach the fundamentals of skating, gliding, stopping, turning and a fun trick or two. The class includes free ice skate rentals and practice sessions from 2 to 4:45 p.m. on the day of lessons.
Children 6 to 8 years old will meet Tuesdays or Thursdays from 3:30 to 4 p.m. and 9- to 15-year-olds will meet Tuesdays or Thursdays from 4 to 4:30 p.m. at the Aliso Viejo Ice Chalet, 9 Journey. Skaters should dress warm and wear mittens or gloves.
