Semtech Corp. Honored for Outstanding Performance

Semtech Corp. in Newbury Park has received the 1999 Outstanding Vendor Performance Award from Varian Medical Systems.
The award, presented to suppliers based on device quality and on-time delivery, goes to those suppliers performing in the top 10% overall. For 1999, 28 of Varian’s 280 vendors were honored with this award.
Semtech supplies high-voltage modular rectifiers to Varian, which produces and sells medical linear accelerators worldwide. The machines provide daily radiation therapy to 80,000 cancer patients.
