Community Group to Install Officers

El Concilio del Condado de Ventura, an Oxnard nonprofit community service group, will install a new president and board members at a June 16 dinner and dance.
Henry L. Lacayo of Newbury Park has been selected new president. Lacayo is a former United Auto Workers representative.
El Concilio del Condado provides youth violence assistance, after-school tutoring, youth leadership programs and other services.
Also to be installed on the board are Sal Sandoval, Olivia Obregon, Judy Rivera, Sandy Cabral, Maria Teran, Evaristo Barrajas and Joe Chow.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Residence Inn at River Ridge, 2101 Vineyard Ave., Oxnard. Cost is $40 per person, which includes a prime rib dinner. Reservations must be made by June 8. For more information, call 486-9777, Ext. 271.
