Minn. Investors Raise Stake in Metalclad

Minnesota investor Wayne W. Mills, his wife, Tamara P. Mills, and his company increased their stake in Metalclad Corp. to 23.3%, according to a federal document filed Monday on the Newport Beach waste treatment operator.
The couple and Blake Capital Partners LLC, all of Edina, have bought 700,000 shares of Metalclad since mid-August at prices ranging from $2.43 to $4.53 a share, according to the document filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Mills and his Blake Capital previously held a total of 500,000 shares, or 9.7%, of the company’s stock. The group now controls a total of 1.2 million shares and constitute the largest investor in Metalclad.
