LAGUNA BEACH

The Festival of Arts board will meet Sunday to ask members if they want to amend the organization’s bylaws to possibly prevent a move from Laguna Beach.
If they want to make a change, the festival’s 2,700 Orange County members--those who have voting power--will decide by mail whether a two-thirds member approval should be required before the festival could move out of the city.
The vote was initiated by the Committee to Keep the Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach, which gathered 375 signatures and turned in the petitions in June.
Registration for the 9 a.m. meeting will begin at 8 a.m. at the Irvine Bowl, 650 Laguna Canyon Road. Information: (949) 494-1145.
