Board members of the Garden Grove Unified School District voted Tuesday to approve a request from Sprint PCS to install a 73-foot-high cellular pole at Donald S. Jordan Intermediate School, 9821 Woodbury Ave.
The pole, which will resemble a pine tree, will be built on a 600-square-foot plot of land in the northeastern part of the campus. The initial lease agreement is for a five-year term and includes four more renewals and an annual 3% increase in rent for use of the space.
