City officials approved a notice of completion for the median beautification improvements on Whittier Boulevard from the western city limits to Harbor Boulevard. On March 20, the council awarded the project to CJ Construction Inc. of Santa Fe Springs in the amount of $138,209. The total construction cost for the project was $208,800.
