Regarding that CHP officer in Kern County who is making a name for himself by citing truckers with over-length rigs on country roads (Aug. 2): If he really wants to enforce the letter of the law he should cite the truckers who exceed their 55-mph speed limit on the freeways. There are thousands of them. He could set new records.
