Some Playoff Games Changed

Eight boys’ basketball games and seven girls’ basketball games will have changes from the original schedules, the Southern Section announced Monday.

Because of one conflict, there will be a basketball doubleheader at Santa Margarita High School.

The Eagle girls play El Modena in the first round of the Division II-AA playoffs at 6 p.m. Thursday. The Santa Margarita boys follow at 8 against Tustin.

The games were scheduled for Saturday, but the Santa Margarita gym is being used Friday and Saturday for the section’s Division IV wrestling finals.

In Division V-A, Tarbut V’Torah hosts Reseda Trinity Lutheran at 7:30 Wednesday. In Division V-AA, Capistrano Valley Christian boys will play Los Angeles Pacific Hills at Los Angeles Murphy High at 7:30 Thursday.

Boys, I-AA--Redlands at Murrieta Valley, Thursday, 8:30 p.m.; III-AA--Twentynine Palms at Lake Isabella Kern Valley, 5:30; IV-A--Los Angeles Milken Community at Santa Monica Crossroads, Thursday, 7 p.m.

Girls, I-AA--Yucaipa at Murrieta Valley, Thursday, 6 p.m.; IV-AA--Kern Valley at Big Bear, 5:30; Beaumont vs. Ventura St. Bonaventure at Ojai Villanova Prep, 7:30; IV-A--Pasadena Westridge at Los Angeles Brentwood, 5:30; Riverside Notre Dame vs. Pomona Catholic at Ramona Convent, 7:30.
