Teen Killed in School Bathroom

A 16-year-old student was shot to death in a high school bathroom in a Stockholm suburb--a rare act of school violence in Sweden. Police rushed to the Bromma school after receiving a report that a stabbing had occurred, but they instead found the boy shot in the throat. The shooting occurred during a lunch break, and many people saw the suspects flee the building, police said. A 19-year-old man was arrested near the school, police spokesman Mats Nylen said. A 17-year-old turned himself in later. Nylen said neither was a student at the school.
