“State to OK Math Books Geared to Tough Standards,” Jan. 10.
Continually insinuating that teachers are not capable of teaching a “challenging program” is self-defeating. With the current thinking, the seasoned teachers are stripped of their creativity and the new ones are pushed into being robots. And why pay any of them a decent wage? The kids lose! Are you happy now?
