Man Kills Wife, 3 Kids, Self at Home, Police Say

A man shot his wife and three daughters to death at their ranch home, then killed himself, state police said.
The bodies of Wesley Snyder, 42; his wife, Ruth, 39; and daughters Holly, 12; Kyla, 10; and Corrie, 8, were found Sunday near the small ranching community of Las Palomas, about 150 miles south of Albuquerque.
“The only information we have is there is a history of alcohol abuse, there is some history of domestic violence between the two adults, and there is some history, we’ve gotten through the family, of depressed behavior” by Snyder, said state police Sgt. Rich Libicer.
