AtomShockwave.com Closes Two Offices

Online game and film distributor AtomShockwave.com laid off most of its staff and closed its offices in Los Angeles and New York as the entertainment site scrambled to avoid the unhappy ending that has become an Internet cliche. The layoffs left San Francisco-based AtomShockwave with 50 workers, down from 200 just a few months ago.
