Keeping Coastline Open

Hurrah for Judge David Yaffe (“Land Swap in Malibu Is Rejected,” May 11). It is about time some element in our society awakened to the need to block further appropriation of our coastline by the wealthy few for their exclusive use.
Maybe Yaffe’s findings will give the California Coastal Commission a little more backbone to keep the coastline open for Californians who live inland and for future generations.
