Reagan, who was 60, died Aug. 8 from malignant melanoma. She was the daughter of former President Reagan, who has Alzheimer’s disease, and was a longtime champion of raising public awareness of the disease.
The 4-mile walk is set from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at San Buenaventura State Beach. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the walk. The fees include a barbecue lunch.
Participants are encouraged to raise money before the event. Prizes will be awarded to the person who raises the most money. For tickets or information, call 485-5597.
