A man was killed and a woman was injured in a two-car collision Friday in Northridge, authorities said. The 5:40 a.m. accident occurred when a man driving south on Haskell Avenue apparently ran a red light and was broadsided by a 21-year-old woman traveling west on Devonshire Street, said Officer Morlee Watson of the LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division.
The man, who had no identification, died at the scene, Watson said. The woman was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills where she was treated and released.
