Woman Gets 22 Years for Injuring Daughter, 12

A Burbank woman was sentenced Friday to 22 years in prison after pleading no contest to charges of corporal injury to a child, mayhem and assault involving her 12-year-old daughter.
In December 2000, officers found the girl bruised and malnourished, hiding near her home.
Her father, Marcus Allan, 44, pleaded no contest to criminal charges in August and was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
Her mother, Erlinda Reyes Allan, 39, was sentenced Friday.
