Chinese Diplomat, Second Man Shot Dead

A Chinese diplomat and a fellow national were killed in the Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek, an official said.
The first secretary at the Chinese Embassy was shot dead with another man as they traveled in a car in the city center, said Piotr Tyablin of the Interior Ministry.
He identified the diplomat as Van Dzhan Pin and the second victim as Omar Nurmurkhamed, a native of the Chinese region of Xinjiang, which borders Kyrgyzstan.
