Trip to Zermatt a Thrill on Two Wheels

I loved “Finding Swiss Bliss in Zermatt” (July 21). Two years ago my two sons, ages 41 and 40, took a bicycle trip to Switzerland. One of the highlights was the ride to Zermatt from Lauterbrunnen.
I had been to Zermatt twice and remembered, as you stated, that there was no car traffic from Tasch to Zermatt. But there were vans, taxis and all manner of supply trucks up and down that narrow last stretch. It was really dangerous, but we were thrilled to have ridden the distance.
At the end of three days we were ready to get back on the saddles for the downhill ride.
