AT&T; Corp. tapped Thomas W. Horton, the top financial executive at AMR Corp.’s American Airlines, as chief financial officer of the telecommunications giant.
Horton, 41, will assume the CFO post from Charles H. Noski, who last month announced he would leave the company when AT&T; completes the sale of its cable TV operations to Comcast Corp. later this year.
Noski, who was named vice chairman of AT&T; in February, will remain in that position until the Comcast deal is closed.
