Watts Basketball Games Conclude This Weekend

There are eight teams left in the boys’ and girls’ divisions of the L.A. Watts Summer Games basketball competition, with quarterfinal and semifinal action scheduled for Saturday at Bell High and the finals set for Sunday at L.A. Southwest College.
Los Angeles Fremont, Woodland Hills Taft, Oceanside El Camino, Dorsey, Fairfax, Long Beach Jordan, Carson and one other team to be determined are the remaining boys’ teams.
Long Beach Millikan, Lynwood, Westchester, Lakewood Mayfair, Carson, Pasadena Muir, Oxnard Channel Islands and Long Beach Poly top the girls’ field. Each division started with 64 teams.
