Update--The Lynx have beaten the Sparks once in 11 meetings, and have lost nine in a row to Los Angeles, including a 76-72 decision on June 8. Lisa Leslie, who sat out Tuesday’s 80-68 victory at Seattle because of flu-like symptoms, practiced Thursday and is expected back in the starting lineup. Los Angeles will also welcome its newest player, 6-foot-5 center Marlies Askamp, acquired from Miami for the Sparks’ 2003 first-round draft pick. Minnesota is trying to shake a mini-slump. The Lynx, coming off Tuesday’s 59-51 loss to Portland, have dropped their last two and three of their last five.
