Archeological Society to Discuss New Mexico Site

The Ventura County Archeological Society will present a program on the mystery of New Mexico’s Chaco Canyon at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Nazarene Church in Newbury Park.
The program will explore how the Chacoan people, with no written language, built a vertical celestial calendar over an area the size of Ireland. The church is at 2770 Borchard Road. For more information, call 657-3325.
