Re “Like Totally Cool Lexicon, Dude,” Oct. 29: Another facet of Valley-speak is HRT (high-rise terminals), the technical term for “uptalk” -- the way teenagers speak so that a sentence ends with an interrogative tone, which makes it sound like a question even when it’s a statement? Like that statement.
