Tom Kenny
Voice of SpongeBob SquarePants on Nickelodeon’s hit show by that name.
“I watch a whole lot of Turner Classic Movies. I end every night with ‘Nightline.’ It’s an addiction. Even though I know what a bad idea it is to remind myself of what a messed-up, horrible world it is before I go to bed. I also like ‘Crank Yankers’ on Comedy Central. You have to respect Jimmy Kimmel for turning crank calls into a TV deal. That’s genius I don’t possess.”

“I travel around the world, and I do about 500 shows a year, so CNN kind of becomes your best friend after a while. It’s addictive, like listening to the radio. Sometimes hearing the same story over and over again becomes more interesting. It’s hypnotic. There’s a girl on Headline News, Linda Stouffer, who is easy on the eyes. “During prime time, I’m always on stage. My girlfriend will tape shows for me. ‘Scrubs’ is a current favorite. I like Zach [Braff]. He’s pretty cool. I like the off-the-wall wackiness of it. I act 22 in real life. I relate to someone still trying to get it right. I’ve seen a few episodes of ‘Alias’ that I really enjoyed. My shows are inspired by cinema, so I love Turner Classic Movies, because I can see and learn from the old, classic movies.”

“I am enjoying ‘CSI.’ I spend a lot of time researching for my books, so I like shows that are well-researched, like when they traced someone to this rare foot fungus. That was cool. I’m not as fond of ‘CSI: Miami.’ It’s because there’s something about David Caruso -- he comes off as too earnest for me.”
