A former production assistant for Lucasfilm has been arrested and charged with stealing storyboard strips, video clips and sound effects from “Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones” before the film’s release in May.
Shea O’Brien Foley, 30, is expected to be arraigned in Marin County court within the next few days on nine counts of grand theft and four counts of unlawfully accessing a computer system, according to Marin County Deputy Dist. Atty. Paul Haakenson.
Foley was arrested Oct. 8 at NBC Studios in Burbank, where he had been working in the facilities department. He is free on $200,000 bail.
If convicted of all charges, Foley could be sentenced to seven years and four months in prison, Haakenson said.
