Four Marines from Camp Pendleton are set to be arraigned Wednesday for the fatal drive-by shooting of a sailor after a brawl at an on-base nightspot at the 32nd Street Naval Base.
The four Marines allegedly fired at a group at a taco stand off-base. Sailor Roderick Little, 22, was struck in the leg and bled to death. Two other men and a woman were wounded.
Expected to be charged with murder and conspiracy are Lance Cpl. Myron Thomas, 21, of Fort Bend, Texas; Pvt. Rodney Moore, 21, of Shelby, Tenn.; Lance Cpl. Kenneth Hall, 19, from Rankin, Miss.; and Lance Cpl. Bernard Jones, 19, of New Orleans. All but Moore served in Iraq.
The Nov. 19 incident involved rivalry over a woman at Club Metro on base, officials said. The case was investigated by the San Diego police and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
