Motorcyclist Dies of Injuries in Accident

A motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries when he crashed into a group of motorcyclists returning from a memorial ride to honor a teenager killed in a 1993 crash.
Attila Betyar, 31, of Carlsbad died Sunday of injuries suffered in the accident a day earlier.
Riding a Suzuki, Betyar collided with an oncoming group of Harley-Davidson riders from Oceanside, injuring three of them, California Highway Patrol officials said.
Members of the Oceanside Harley Owners Group said they had ridden through a Carlsbad neighborhood Saturday morning in memory of Brian Harpold, 15, who died in a motorcycle accident near his Carlsbad home.
