An aspiring screenwriter was sentenced Tuesday to four years and eight months in state prison for making false bomb threats at The Times in July.
Frederick Bernard Cheaves was convicted last month of two charges.

Cheaves is scheduled to return to Los Angeles County Superior Court on Jan. 28 for a restitution hearing.
