1 Killed, 1 Hurt in Head-On Crash

One person was killed and another was seriously injured Monday afternoon in a head-on collision on California 126 at San Martinez Grande Canyon Road.
The high-speed crash was reported at 4:13 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
One person, whose name was not released, died at the scene. The driver of the other car was taken to Henry Mayo Memorial Hospital in serious condition, said CHP Officer Vince Ramirez.
