Ex-Counselor Pleads Guilty to Sex With Minor

A former Orange County group home counselor who became involved with a 16-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to having sex with a minor.
Trisha Lee Watkins, 32, of Santa Ana, pleaded guilty in Orange County Superior Court Friday to five counts each of oral copulation and unlawful sexual intercourse. Her sentence will be determined later this year.
The acts occurred between June 2 and Sept. 29 of last year when Watkins was employed as a counselor at Olive Crest Group Home, according to court documents.
