Threatened Plovers Nesting at State Beach

For the first time, a pair of threatened western snowy plovers is nesting at Roosevelt State Beach in Half Moon Bay.
Plovers typically nest two miles away at Francis Beach, a protected area, but have never been seen at Roosevelt.
