Priest Pleads Not Guilty to Sex Abuse

A Roman Catholic priest pleaded not guilty Tuesday to five felony counts of child molestation that prosecutors say date back 25 years.
The alleged victim told authorities that Denis Lyons, 69, of Seal Beach, molested him when he was between the ages of 13 and 16.
The priest, who is free on $100,000 bail, was ordered to return to Orange County Superior Court in Newport Beach on June 24 for a pretrial hearing.
