Minister in Sex Lawsuit Is Placed on Leave

The pastor of St. Nicholas Catholic Church has been removed from his ministerial post after a civil lawsuit alleging sexual misconduct, the Diocese of Orange announced this week.
Bishop Tod Brown relieved the Rev. Richard Delahunty, who is accused of misconduct in 1981 while he was a pastor at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Santa Ana.
Delahunty, who has denied the allegations, will remain on administrative leave until his case is completed.
