From Times Wire Reports
Police continued to investigate the harassment of a black family that woke to find a cross burning near their house.
It was the second time the family has been targeted for hate crimes in two weeks, Anderson Police Chief Neil Purcell said.
Police have not released the name or address of the family, citing concerns about their safety.
On Dec. 21, the family called police after boards painted with swastikas and racial epithets were left on their garbage cans.
