ROBERT HILBURN did the best job of capturing the moment and the meaning of July 5, 1954, that I have seen (“Rock’s Delivery Room,” July 4). Thanks for taking the time to tell the story so well.
We still miss Sam and his booming voice preaching the gospel of Memphis music, but he was sure there in spirit, and he would have loved the article too.
