Army Expects No Delay in Boeing-Led Program

The restructuring of the contract for the $125-billion Future Combat Systems program will not delay the modernization effort led by Boeing Co. or make it costlier, Army Secretary Francis Harvey said.
Harvey said he expected that renegotiating Boeing’s contract would take three to four months.
The FCS program is intended to use advanced communications to link troops with a family of 18 light, fast air and ground vehicles that are both manned and unmanned.
