Dead Killer’s Arlington Burial Is Ruled Proper

The remains of an Army veteran convicted of stabbing an elderly couple to death in 2002 will stay at Arlington National Cemetery despite protests from the victims’ son.
Russell Wayne Wagner’s remains were properly placed at the cemetery with standard military honors July 27, Army spokeswoman Martha Rudd said. He died in prison of a heroin overdose Feb. 7.
