Hot Air Balloon Crash Causes Power Outage

A hot air balloon hit power lines at Dillon Road and Interstate 10 about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, causing a minor electrical outage but no fire, authorities said. No injuries were reported.
Several nearby businesses briefly lost power when the balloon hit the lines, said Patrick Chandler, spokesman for the Riverside County Fire Department.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
