Enough already! Bury the charges
WHEN will the service-poor airlines stop nickel-and-diming the passengers [“Thirsty Fliers Must Buck Up,” Travel Log, Dec. 18]? Another airline decides to charge for soft drinks, while others begin charging for pillows or blankets. If all airlines buried these charges in the fare, they would not look so ridiculous and cheap. I doubt these additional tariffs will ever bring them back to profitability.
