Road Reopens as Rocks, Mud Are Cleared

Malibu Canyon Road reopened Saturday after being closed for almost a week because of storm-related rockslides and mudslides.
It had been closed from Civic Center Way to Piuma Road while authorities cleared a big pile of rocks, boulders and other debris, said Menerva Ariki, spokeswoman for the county Public Works Department.
