News Corp. Investors Sue Murdoch, Board

News Corp. investors sued Chairman Rupert Murdoch and the rest of the company’s board, saying they reneged on a promise to put a “poison pill” takeover defense to a shareholder vote.
The investors’ complaint is “without merit,” a News Corp. spokeswoman said.
