A three-vehicle crash in Mead Valley on Monday morning left three people injured, two seriously, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 8:15 a.m. in an unincorporated area of western Riverside County, said Officer Tariq Johnson of the California Highway Patrol in Los Angeles County.
One car slammed into another’s side and two rolled over, said Capt. Julie Hutchinson of the California Department of Forestry & Fire Protection.
The injured -- including one person who was freed with the Jaws of Life -- were taken to Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley, Hutchinson said. A fourth person left the scene unhurt.
A sport utility vehicle and the other two vehicles collided on Gavilan Road at Multiview Drive, said Officer Gabe Marroquin of the CHP’s San Bernardino County traffic management center.
