A 7-Eleven store has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man who raped a store clerk during a robbery last month, police said Wednesday.
The 21-year-old woman was stocking a beer cooler at the store in the 13400 block of Goldenwest Street when the man sexually assaulted her about 3 a.m. on Aug. 10, according to police.
Investigators said they had exhausted all leads regarding the rapist, described as white, 25 to 28 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, and thin, with long, narrow sideburns.
At the time of the assault, police said, he was wearing a gray baseball cap, black handkerchief, black short-sleeve T-shirt with white print on the lower front side, black jeans, black gloves with large white labels and dark boots.
Anyone with information is asked to call Det. David Ferronato at (714) 898-3315, Ext. 347.
