Grenade Attack in Northeast Kills 1

Suspected separatist rebels hurled grenades into a crowded area of Guwahati, the largest city in India’s northeast, killing one person and injuring six, police said.
Rebels from the United Liberation Front of Assam were behind the attack, police said.
The attack came a day after a roadside bomb killed five policemen, another assault blamed on separatists.
